GEORGE JAMES

George James (AWS-DF, NWS, NWWS, WW, OWS) is a popular seminar instructor, art show juror, and recently retired art professor from California State University, Fullerton. Three watercolor painting instructional videos by Master Artist George James are available through Creative Catalyst Productions. Exploring the unknown combination of synthetic paper and the traditional watercolor media has motivated George James to continue his successful painting in this unusual, creative experience. By abandoning traditional methods, he has discovered a new, creative watercolor process. Exhibiting these results has led to his work being recognized on a national level. Some of the prizes George has been awarded include the following: AWS Bronze Medal 1998, AWS Gold Medal 1999 and AWS Ida Wells Stroud Award 2000.
