EYDI LAMPASONA, NWS

Our final meeting of the year will feature Eydi Lampasona, NWS.

Born to artist parents, Eydi grew up surrounded by art in South Florida.  She is an interdisciplinary artist working in mixed-media painting, collage/assemblage and printmaking.

She received her MFA from Vermont College and a BFA from Florida Atlantic University and has obtained numerous national and international awards.

She will be providing critique sessions of Gold Coast Watercolor Society members’ paintings. Each GCWS current  member is encouraged to bring one painting for Eydi to critique.  This is always a popular event and one not to be missed.

Welcome to South Florida's Largest Watercolor Society

The Gold Coast Watercolor Society is now on hiatus. Please join us on Tuesday, October 19th 2009. The Gold Coast Watercolor Society is dedicated to advancing the fine art of watercolor painting.

Our annual exhibits awards feature cash and merchandise prizes.

Three workshops are offered each year by world renowned artists like Judy Morris, Frank Francese, Skip Lawrence, Judy Wagner and Betsy Dillard-Stroud. DemoDaze in the spring offers an cost effective series of mini-workshops by our own talented members.

Our monthly meetings provide a creative social interaction with other artists and demonstrations by recognized artists.

The paint-ins and outs offer group painting setting with live models or plein-aire

Our "active" period is from October to May. We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the ArtServe auditorium. ArtServe is located at 1350 East Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.
